    Product Submission Policy

    Effective date: August 12, 2026

eDigitalReviews accepts product information and review inquiries from manufacturers, brands, retailers, distributors, software companies, public relations agencies, and independent creators.

A product submission allows our editorial team to consider a product for possible coverage. It does not guarantee a review, publication date, product placement, rating, recommendation, or commercial result.

We select products according to editorial relevance, reader interest, product availability, technical importance, available testing resources, and the usefulness of the information we can provide. Our objective is to publish accurate and practical technology content rather than accept every product offered for review.

This policy explains how to submit a product, what information we require, how review samples may be handled, and the standards that apply to editorial coverage.

    1. Products We Consider

eDigitalReviews may consider physical products, software, digital services, subscriptions, and technology tools that are relevant to our audience.

    Potential areas of coverage include:

    • Laptops and desktop computers.
    • Computer components and accessories.
    • Gaming keyboards, mice, headsets, controllers, and monitors.
    • Cameras, lenses, vlogging equipment, microphones, and lighting.
    • Headphones, earbuds, speakers, and audio equipment.
    • Smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and mobile accessories.
    • Networking devices, routers, storage products, and smart home equipment.
    • Web hosting services and WordPress tools.
    • VPNs, productivity software, security applications, and selected AI tools.
    • Streaming, recording, and content creation equipment.

We may consider products outside these areas when they provide clear value to readers or support a relevant technology use case.

A product should be commercially relevant or reasonably available to the intended audience. We may decline products that are unavailable for purchase, unsupported in our target markets, incomplete, unsafe to use, or difficult to evaluate responsibly.

    2. How to Submit a Product

Companies and representatives should submit product information through the website’s contact form.

A complete product submission should include:

    • Company or brand name.
    • Name and position of the contact person.
    • Business email address.
    • Product name and exact model number.
    • Product category.
    • Official launch date.
    • Countries or regions where the product is available.
    • Suggested retail price and current selling price.
    • Product configuration being offered.
    • Main features and technical specifications.
    • Warranty and support information.
    • Review sample availability.
    • Estimated shipping or delivery timeline.
    • Software, application, or account requirements.
    • Relevant press materials or technical documentation.
    • Embargo date, if applicable.
    • Contact details for technical questions.
    • Preferred method of follow-up.

Submissions should be written clearly and contain information that can be verified. Marketing descriptions may be included, but they should not replace specifications, documentation, or practical information about the product.

If the product is software or an online service, include access requirements, subscription terms, available plans, supported platforms, regional restrictions, trial conditions, cancellation terms, and any limitations that may affect evaluation.

    3. Editorial Evaluation

After receiving a submission, we may assess whether the product is suitable for editorial consideration.

    Our evaluation may consider:

    • Relevance to eDigitalReviews readers.
    • Product quality and market significance.
    • Availability in the markets we cover.
    • Potential reader demand.
    • Competition and comparable alternatives.
    • Access to a complete retail configuration.
    • Availability of technical information.
    • Testing time and editorial resources.
    • The product’s suitability for hands-on evaluation.
    • Whether the product can be covered without creating a misleading impression.

A submission may be declined because the product falls outside our coverage, lacks sufficient information, is not available to readers, requires unreasonable testing conditions, or does not provide a meaningful editorial opportunity.

We do not provide a detailed explanation for every declined submission.

    4. Review Samples

A review sample may be purchased by eDigitalReviews, loaned temporarily, provided without charge, supplied by a manufacturer, or delivered through a distributor or public relations agency.

The source of a sample does not determine the review outcome. A company that provides a product does not receive a guaranteed review or favorable treatment.

Depending on the arrangement, a review sample may be:

    • Returned after evaluation.
    • Retained for future reference.
    • Provided for a defined testing period.
    • Replaced by a retail unit.
    • Assigned to an approved contributor.
    • Returned at the sender’s expense.
    • Kept when return shipping is impractical or otherwise agreed.

The ownership and return conditions should be confirmed before shipment. If no return arrangement is provided, eDigitalReviews may determine how the sample is handled after the review period, subject to applicable obligations.

    5. Shipping and Delivery

The submitting company is responsible for providing accurate shipping information and ensuring that the product is packaged appropriately for transit.

Unless otherwise agreed, the submitting party is responsible for:

    • Shipping costs.
    • Customs charges and import duties.
    • Insurance.
    • Delivery documentation.
    • Product tracking.
    • Replacement of items damaged before delivery.
    • Return shipping for loaned products.
    • Any required accessories or power adapters.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather, incomplete address information, incorrect documentation, or other events outside our reasonable control.

Products should arrive in a complete and usable condition. If a sample arrives damaged, incomplete, regionally incompatible, or materially different from the submitted configuration, we may request clarification, suspend testing, or decline coverage.

    6. Testing Requirements

Review samples should be provided with the accessories, software, licenses, manuals, power supplies, cables, and other components required for ordinary evaluation.

A product that cannot be used without unavailable equipment, restricted software, special credentials, or undisclosed technical support may not be suitable for review.

The testing process depends on the product category. We may assess performance, design, build quality, comfort, setup, software, connectivity, reliability, battery behavior, compatibility, support, recurring costs, and value.

We do not promise to test every feature or use a product in every possible environment. Testing may be limited by the review period, product configuration, firmware, software version, region, available equipment, or access to third-party services.

We do not claim long-term durability based on a short evaluation period. We do not present research-based information as firsthand testing.

    7. Editorial Independence

Product submissions do not create editorial control.

The submitting company may provide factual information, technical clarification, documentation, and responses to reasonable questions. It may not require eDigitalReviews to:

    • Publish a review.
    • Use specific wording.
    • Assign a particular rating.
    • Remove material criticism.
    • Omit important limitations.
    • Delay an unfavorable conclusion.
    • Present advertising as independent editorial coverage.
    • Claim that a product was tested when it was not.

We may contact a company before publication to verify specifications, explain a technical detail, or confirm a product change. A company’s feedback may improve factual accuracy, but it does not determine the final editorial judgment.

    8. Review Conclusions

A published review may be positive, negative, mixed, or inconclusive. It may recommend a product for one type of buyer while advising another audience to consider alternatives.

A product’s price, competition, support, compatibility, limitations, and intended use may affect the final conclusion. The most expensive product is not automatically considered the best, and a product with the longest specification list may not provide the greatest practical value.

We do not accept payment or other benefits in exchange for a guaranteed positive review, favorable ranking, predetermined score, or omission of relevant weaknesses.

A company may disagree with an editorial conclusion. Disagreement does not automatically justify a change. Corrections are made when factual information is incorrect or materially outdated, not simply because the review is unfavorable.

    9. Embargoes and Publication Timing

Companies may provide an embargo date for a new product or announcement. An embargo request should be stated clearly before the product or information is supplied.

We may agree to respect a reasonable embargo, but we do not guarantee publication on the embargo date. Publication may be delayed because of testing time, editorial workload, product changes, technical problems, incomplete information, shipping delays, or other circumstances.

We may decline an embargo when its terms are unclear, unreasonable, inconsistent with editorial independence, or incompatible with our publishing schedule.

Embargoed information should be clearly identified. Companies should not send confidential information unless appropriate handling terms have been agreed in advance.

    10. Confidential Information

Do not send trade secrets, private customer information, passwords, unpublished security vulnerabilities, confidential contracts, or other sensitive information through an ordinary product submission.

If confidential information is necessary for a technical discussion, identify it clearly and provide only the minimum information required. Submission does not automatically create a confidentiality agreement.

We may need to share product information with authorized editors, reviewers, technical contributors, legal advisers, shipping providers, or service providers involved in evaluating the product. Companies should not provide information that cannot be handled through ordinary editorial operations.

    11. Software and Digital Services

For software, online platforms, web hosting, VPNs, applications, and subscription services, companies should provide legitimate review access and explain the scope of that access.

    Include:

    • Account type and permission level.
    • Trial or evaluation period.
    • Included features.
    • Usage limits.
    • Supported devices and operating systems.
    • Data storage or processing conditions.
    • Subscription and renewal terms.
    • Cancellation procedure.
    • Regional restrictions.
    • Technical support contact.
    • Relevant documentation.

Review access should not require the submission of unnecessary personal information. If a service requires account creation, we may use an editorial account or another reasonable testing arrangement.

We do not guarantee that access will remain available after publication. If a company changes or removes access, the article may be updated to reflect that change.

    12. Commercial Opportunities

Companies may contact eDigitalReviews about advertising, sponsored content, affiliate relationships, expert interviews, media briefings, and other business opportunities.

A product submission is not automatically an advertising proposal. Editorial review and commercial placement are evaluated separately.

Paid content must be clearly distinguishable from independent editorial analysis. Commercial partners cannot purchase a rating, force a positive conclusion, or control the substance of a review.

We may reject business proposals that require undisclosed promotion, misleading endorsements, false claims, guaranteed coverage, or editorial control.

    13. After Publication

Companies may submit factual corrections, product updates, firmware information, availability changes, warranty updates, and technical clarifications after publication.

A correction request should identify the exact statement in question and provide reliable supporting information. We may update an article when the evidence supports a factual correction or when a significant change affects the usefulness of the original recommendation.

We do not remove accurate criticism merely because a company dislikes the conclusion. We may update an article when a product changes, becomes unavailable, receives a major software update, or faces substantially different competition.

    14. No Guarantee of Coverage

Submitting a product does not guarantee that eDigitalReviews will:

    • Accept the sample.
    • Test every feature.
    • Publish an article.
    • Publish by a requested date.
    • Include the product in a buying guide.
    • Mention the product in a comparison.
    • Provide ongoing coverage.
    • Use supplied marketing language.
    • Give a positive recommendation.
    • Return the product unless a return agreement exists.

Editorial decisions depend on the information and resources available at the time.

eDigitalReviews welcomes well-prepared product submissions that help us identify useful technology products for our readers. A complete, accurate, and transparent submission gives our editorial team the information needed to evaluate the opportunity responsibly while preserving independent judgment throughout the review process.
