Kindles are an amazing opportunity for book readers to store their much loved books in one place. For years it has been an issue for book lovers to take good care of their beloved books, the solution to which is Kindle.
For those of you still wondering what Kindle e-Reader is, here is a little introduction. It is a series of e-readers, designed by Amazon which helps you buy, read and download newspapers, books, and magazines on the go. All the devices are linked to the Kindle Store which has a little more than six million e-books available.
However, these must not be confused with tablets. It is primarily designed to give its users a perfect reading experience on the go without having to physically carry the books or magazines.
With a lot of books stored, you sometimes feel like getting rid of one or two of them. Here is the procedure for deleting a book from Kindle reader explained in a series of steps.
- Step One
With your Kindle turned on, through your Home Screen, look for the book you are thinking to delete.
- Step Two
Once the book is selected, you will be presented with a number of options. Select “Remove from Device”, which will send your book directly to archive.
- Step Three
Here you are left with two choices, one of which is to let the book stay in Archive and the other one is to permanently Delete it. If you want to go ahead with the later, sign in to your Amazon account and find “Manage your Content and Devices”. Here you will be able to see the list of books purchased by you. Look for the book you intend on deleting. Now, click the “…” button as seen on the left side.
- Step Four
The drop-down menu will give you an option to “Delete” the book. You’ll be asked whether you want the book to be deleted permanently, then click “Yes, delete permanently”. This will lead to the file being permanently deleted.
Voila! You’re done!
